



Front Door in the Art Deco style treated hardwood with leaded hand-blown stained glass panels and bronzed door furniture. The door was made to seal off an open loggia in order to extend the entrance hall within, and was fitted its new bolection-moulded architrave to the reverse of the existing arched opening.

Spiral Staircase in Clear Glass with Sandblasted Stainles Steel Newel and Fitting, Etched Glass treads and leather-covered handrail. The base is made from a solid block of Portland Basebed Limestone with integral uplighters and cantilevered stone treads. Although transparent and minimal in appearance, the staircase contains over 450 custom made components.

Part of the brief from the client was to provide a Gallery space which could occasionally double as a Dining Room,as well as storing the overspill of books from the main Library.The shallow painted bookcases,seen ranged along the walls, are all mounted on castors with hinged tops.These converge in the middle of the room to form a modular dining table capable of seating up to 30 people.The top is in Mahogany to match the Library bookcases, and has a strip of antiqued mirror glass down the centre.

This exquisite carpet wa designed in imitation of an eighteenth century Englis designer's version of a seventeenth century Mughal carpet. all of the processes involded in the production of this carpet were completed by hand, from dying the wool, to knotting the final piece.





This project involded the conversion of a single space into three separate areas; a working Library, Study, and Gallery doubling as an occasional Dining space. The Dividing Wall with arched opening and Mezzanine Floor were installed with a Steel an Glass Staircase giving access to a newly created zpanelled Study upstairs. a New hand finished Oak floor was installed throughout, with under-floor heating, and the entire space was lit using state-of-the-art computer-controlled lighting.
