The frames are carved in solid timber and water gilded, and the pair have been patinated to give the appearance of well cared for antiques in 'Showroom Condition'. Walnut Stool Pair of stools in Walnut with leather seats. The facades are constructed from solid timber with shallow relief carving and are connected by baluster-turned stretchers. The seat has a cross-banded apron, and the diagonally hand stitched leather tops lend a contemporary air to this late nineteenth century design.
